Well, Kylie started the day off by eating a couple of pieces of potato. Very exciting. She did have her conditions though. She would eat if we placed the food on her spoon and allowed her to spoon it into her mouth. She then refused to let go of the spoon for about the next four hours. She later let us feed her some ice cream for lunch and actually had most of a jar of baby food for dinner. It seems this new appetite changed the contents of her diapers though. That's a shame.
Bangkok has a great elevated train system for public transportation. Today we traveled on it with Kylie for the first time. While it was definitely not as bad as the taxi ride, she still did not much care for it. We are going to continue to try and get her comfortable with it in preparation for the flight home.
We are going to see what we can do about venturing out a bit further from our hotel in the next few days. So far we have not had the chance to do much sightseeing at all. Our first few days were at the nursery and then since we’ve taken Kylie we’ve been trying to see what that entails before we get too crazy. Apparently naps are a part of the program.... For the kid too. Our hotel is basically right at Na Na Plaza, so we’re getting to know that pretty well. We’ll see how it goes…

Love the pics. It is so exciting to watch the progress each day. It looks like Kylie is really warming up to you guys. Good looking family! Can't wait for tomorrows pics.
Justin & Christina,
I just got the news about Kylie from my Mom & Bob. So excited to see she is finally coming home to you. She is absolutely beautiful and seems like she is smiling more. I love the blog...so easy for you to share your experience with family and friends. That was the main reason we created www.linman.com...so we could keep everyone up to date, because as I am sure you have heard...they grow up so fast and change so much. You are natural parents and she will have such a loving home. So happy for you all!! Take care and continue to update so we can watch the progression. Have a safe trip home and we can't wait to get the cousins together.
Love,
The Kyle, Julie, Magnus & Anders :)
Dear Justin, Christina & Kylie, love your new photos today - looks like it's a warm day for summer clothes! She is oh so beautiful & it looks like parenting is going well! You guys are naturals with all your practice with nieces & nephews! Hope you get to experience some great Thai food.
Love to the 3 of you, Nancy & Steve
