We made it to the Chao Phraya River today and took a boat ride once we got there. It was by far our longest journey of the trip. Kylie did really well on the sky train and the boat. Hopefully it is a foreshadowing of a nice peaceful flight home. We got off the boat at the Maharaj Pier which is the place to get off if you want to walk to the Grand Palace, but we did not make it. Supposedly you are not to wear flip flops or shorts if you go there so I was out. We never thought we would make it that far so I did not prepare. It is just some dead guy’s old house anyway right? Maybe we will take another shot at it later in the week.
The river is very busy and rather disgusting. I hope the food we are eating is not coming from there, but it probably is.
We hit a book store on the way home and Kylie insisted on carrying the bag with the books. Even once we got back to the hotel she did not want to let go. This seems like some kind of road towards a shopping fettish and I certainly don't approve.
She likes to say “yeeeeaaaah” after giving a high five and I got another “oot-all” from her today, but so far no luck on “the refs screwed us again”.

keep stretching that rope--when are you coming home? what an amazing progression of photos-i start with the first posting everyday and just scroll thru-i can't believe the changes. i can envision kylie running thru your house 'hi-fiving' everyone. of course your football watching time is going to be cut in half justin (yeah kylie!); and you are probably going to be in trouble with the dynamic shopping duo,but you're obviously having a blast. and christina, i've never seen you so radiant-those poopy diapers must not be so bad after all. glad the family is getting out more-enjoy yourselves as much as you can. love you
hmm a little chop on the water..let's go sailing. shorts and rubba-slippa sounds great.
What an amazing adventure! Thank your so much for sharing. The pictures are adorable. She's beautiful. A girl who knows what she wants. Watch out world! You guys make such a wonderful family. Can't wait to meet her.
Well, well, well. That was one very big smile! That is awesome to see. And don't worry about eating that polluted fish and stuff. We will be sure to be very tactful when you grow an extra ear.
Seriously, she is so beautiful. It's so much fun following this blog, so we know a little of what to expect in two weeks time. I can't promise Zavier will be a good shopping partner for Kylie, but he could sure help her ride a bike or throw a football, or collect insects and store them in every orafice known to man.
Love,
Shauna and Scott...future victims of happiness!
Wow! I love that smile- not you mom and dad, KYLIE!! You know you guys aren't important anymore, just the baby. I can't believe the changes. She seems to really be getting comfortable with everything. She looks truly happy and very, very loved. Oh, mom and dad too. (See what happens.)
These are the pictures everyone has been waiting for. Looks like you have won her over. She just may want to keep you after all. Be really careful, Kylie has a bunch of teeth, keep your fingers clear at all times.
